At the recent 57th Grand Chapter Conclave, IL-Gamma alumnus Brad Nahrstadt ’89 was bestowed the honor of being re-elected to SigEp’s National Board of Directors. He was previously elected to a 6-year term in 2015. Nahrstadt is quite famous in the SigEp community, having held several positions throughout his lifetime. He began by serving as IL-Gamma’s president during his junior and senior years at Monmouth College. He later served as district governor for SigEp chapters in Illinois from 2007-2015. He was recognized in 2012 with the honor of Distinguished Alumnus. Nahrstadt has also acted as a facilitator for Carlson Leadership Academies, Ruck Leadership Institutes, and Life After College. He even served as a mentor for the Tragos Quest to Greece in 2019.
Nahrstadt also plays a big role on Monmouth’s campus. He graduated summa cum laude in 1989 and went on to attend the University of Illinois College of Law. He was a member of the Monmouth College Alumni Board of Directors from 1995-2000, serving as its President from 1998-2000. He has also sat on Monmouth’s Board of Trustees since 2002.
Nahrstadt maintains a close relationship with the brothers on campus, checking in from time to time and offering assistance any way he can. The brothers of IL-Gamma are proud to have an alum like Nahrstadt to act as a model of the ideal SigEp Balanced Man, and we’d like to congratulate him on this honor.
